These terms apply when you use this website, join our waitlist, make a bridal enquiry or place an order with us.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to buy anything. We'll email you about the waitlist and our launch. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. Early access is offered at our discretion and while stock lasts.

3. Our products

AU-CHEMI nails are press-on nails electroformed in copper, plated with palladium as a barrier layer (instead of nickel), then plated in gold (14ct, 18ct or 24ct). They are gold-plated, not solid gold, and are not hallmarked. Each set is made to order. Colours on screen can differ slightly from the finished product.

4. Orders

When orders open, placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to accept your order. We may decline an order, for example if a price was shown in error; if we do, we refund any payment in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

6. Delivery

Delivery times and options are set out in our Shipping Policy.

7. Returns, refunds and faulty items

You can return a set within 30 days of delivery. Your rights, including for faulty items, are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Bridal and engraved orders

Bridal consultations are free. We confirm the price, design, engraving text and timing in writing before anything is made, and you approve the engraving text before production. Engraved and personalised sets can't be returned for a change of mind, but your rights for faulty or misdescribed items still apply.

9. Wearing your nails

Follow the application and care guide supplied with your set. Stop wearing the nails and seek advice if you notice irritation.

10. Our content

The text, images, logos and designs on this website belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy them without permission. Our nails are made using a process protected by UK patent GB2596354, which is owned by Makango Malondji.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We supply our products for personal use only, and are not responsible for any business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
